| How to Care for Your Hands | |
The skin on your hands is soft and tender and loses its moisture. This is because hands often come into contact with water and detergents during the day from washing. Women who wash clothes and utensils by hand regulary will end up with dry skin on their hands which looks older than the skin on the rest of their body. To help prevent this here are some practicle tips.
-
Use a good quality organic hand cream, regularly during the day. Especially after your hands have been in water.
-
Try to wear rubber gloves whilst washing-up and cleaning to protect your hands from harsh chemicals.
-
Applying an organic hand cream before going to bed, will enable to the active ingredients to work whilst you are sleeping in the night.
-
Always keep nails clean and filed smooth. It is not necessary to always wear nail polish, properly filed nails will equally enhance the apperance of your hands.
-
If the hands have become very hard and the skin is dry, start massaging them with organic shea butter, which will definitely make your hands extra soft and smooth. If the hands have become dry during the winter then you can massage them with organic shea butter and then wear cotton gloves overnight. It will help the skin to absorb the shea butter and become re-moisturised.

| How to Care for Your Feet | |
The skin of the feet is harder than the hands. They get dirtier as we don't wash them as often in a day. Many people do have a problem of getting dry dead skin on the heels of the feet, which at times gets cut and cracks and starts bleeding if no proper care has been taken. So it's essential to pamper the same way you pamper other body parts.
-
Soak feet in lukewarm soapy water for few minutes and then use a foot scrubber and filer to remove the dead skin from the feet.
-
Apply organic foot cream to your feet regularly, to moisturise them to help reduce dry hard skin building up.
-
Toe nails should always be kept clean and neatly filed as you would finger nails. By cutting your nails weekly it will encourage healthy nail growth and help to prevent problems such as in-growing toe nails.
-
To help with particularly dry skin, you can massage organic Shea Butter into your feet and then wear cotton socks to enable your feet to absorb the Shea Butter.
-
To help relax tired feet, there are pressure points on feet in the centre and below the toes. These presure points will help to relax feet when massaged. Rotating feet from the ankle and flexing also helps to relax them.
-
If you get painful, cracked heels then regular using organic Shea Butter will help to relieve these systems.
